ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- Saturday UNM hosted the semifinal match ups of the Mountain West Tennis Championships.

The top seeded Lobo men took on 5 seed Boise State, and got upset 4-2. This was a tough loss for the Lobos as this year was their best chance at winning this tournament. They will lose key players to graduation after this season and could have a harder time making it this far.

The Lobo women took on 3 seed San Jose State in the evening. This was a close one as went late into the night. They ended up beating the Spartans 4-2. They now play in the championship game on Sunday against Wyoming at 2 pm.
