ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Connor MacDougall remembered how hard Lobos basketball coach Craig Neal recruited him before he decided on Arizona State.

When things did not work out with the Sun Devils MacDougall remembered Neal and the Lobos.

The 6-foot, 9-inch forward is in his first year with New Mexico and has three to play as a redshirt sophomore.

“I definitely try to pride myself on offensive boards and defensive boards and boxing out,”said MacDougall. “But obviously, it’s going to be learning this system and learning these guys, kind of getting my feet wet. I hope to come out and make an impact this year.”

MacDougall shared his thoughts with KRQE Sports and some of the things that people might not know about him.

The Lobos start the season with an exhibition game against Western New Mexico November 2.
