ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– Hugh Greenwood said he had plans of playing for his country Australia once again.

The Lobo guard will get his wish after being named to the Australian Boomers Basketball Team. Greenwood will play for the team at the 2015 World University Games in South Korea this summer.

Australia will compete in pool C with the likes of Lithuania, Finland, Japan, France and Chinese Taipei. Play is scheduled to begin July 3 in the southern city of Gwangju. Greenwood has prior experience with the Boomers, playing for their U-17 and U-19 national teams in the past.

While at New Mexico, Greenwood won five Mountain West Championships and became the second Lobo guard to score 1,000 points and pull down 600 career rebounds.
