ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- The 20th installment of Jackson’s MMA Series is going on Saturday night at Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino at 7 p.m.

Headlining the card is New Mexico native and Albuquerque High graduate, 27-year-old Josh Moreno.

A lot of people in the fight community know Moreno, as he spars with some of the best fighters in the world over at Jackson Wink MMA Academy. This fight only marks his second professional bout, but he expects to being the action on his feet.

“Everybody in New Mexico knows me, everybody knows and seen me in action, and they know what i am about. They are definitely going to go, as this card is almost sold out. They know what I am going to do Saturday night,” said Josh Moreno.

Moreno is 1-0 professionally and is taking on Colorado native Sonny Yohn who is 2-1 professionally.

Moreno has trained with some of the best Heavyweights and Light Heavyweights at the Jackson Wink Camp, but on Saturday Moreno will be taking on Yohn in the Middleweight Division.

So expect to see some big power from stand up heavy Moreno taking on Yohn, who is more of a wrestler.
