ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Isotopes came into “Bark at The Park” day at the Lab with their ace on the mound and hungry to prevent the sweep and snap a five game losing streak. Jeff Hoffman started out looking great on the mound, mowing down Zephyr batters left and right. He racked up 7 K’s but he would go on to give up 3 earned runs, as the Topes drop the Sunday game 4-3.
They now hit the road for 8 games, starting in Omaha on Monday with first pitch being at 5:35 p.m.
