ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s not a secret that New Mexico likes to run the football. Perhaps it was too much to pass up for Kentrail Moran.

The talented runningback out of O’Fallen High School in Illinois committed to the Lobos over the weekend and will be available for the 2016 season. Moran was considered one of the best running backs in the state of Illinois as he finished his high school career.

The three star recruit originally committed to Illinois but reopened his recruitment. Moran is listed at 5-foot, 10-inches and 192 pounds and also had offers from Iowa, Indiana, Kansas and Syracuse.

Moran told 247 Sports,”It will be a great spot and a lot of people will regret not having me.”

Moran had 3,569 rush yards during his high school career. He had 27 rush touchdowns with 28 overall.
