ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Jamie Leibert is the brain child behind “Jump Across America,” where he and his team go across America skydiving, wing suit flying and just being crazy all to raise awareness of his non-profit organization.

“I’m out here jumping across America jumping for kids. It’s called Just Care More and we are trying to raise awareness and raise money to send at risk youth to a summer camp this august. I figured I’ do it the only way I know how, and that’s out of things and off of things,” said Jamie Leibert AKA Captain Manicorn.

Yes, he likes to go by Captain Manicorn, but Leibert is not an ordinary guy and he embraces that.

He wants to start a summer camp to help at risk youth and help guide them back on to the right track through leadership and action sports.

“Everybody on my staff has a very colorful background — the people and my girlfriend and everybody. And that’s where we just learned to love each other and it’s about progression, because going from being in person six years later to be where I am at there is a lot of knowledge,” said Captain Manicorn.
