ALBUQUERQU, N.M. (KRQE)- The Elite Warriors Boxing card promoted by Legacy Boxing was held on Saturday night at the MCM Elegante Hotel. Lighting issues forced a late start for the boxing card, but KRQE Sports was able to make it to 2 fights on the card.

Katie “Dynamite” Ramirez and Briana Gonzales would go the distance in their bout and it would end in a draw.

The next bout was between Albuquerque’s own Jason “Alacrancito” Sanchez and El Paso’s Juan Guillen. This featherweight bout was controlled heavily by Sanchez after he knocked Guillen to the matt twice in the first round off of pulverizing body shots.

This fight would go to the 6^th and final round, but in the final round Sanchez would connect on another haymaker to the body, and Guillen would be down for the count. Sanchez betters his professional record to now 8-0 professionally.
