ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Isotopes didn’t have the best road trip coming into their 8 game home stand on Friday. They were coming off of a late game winner against New Orleans, scoring 3 runs in the 9th to win. They played the Storm chasers on Friday and would go on to win 12-3.

The Topes scored 1 run in the bottom of the first. Omaha would then tie the game up in the top of the third, but in the bottom of the inning the Isotopes put on their rally caps. They went on to score 5 runs in the home half, as the ball was just jumping off of their bats.

This win makes 2 in a row for the Isotopes. They continue their series with Omaha on Saturday, with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
