ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State junior quarterback Tyler Rogers is facing misdemeanor battery charges on a household member. The Las Cruces Sun reports that Rogers turned himself in and was arrested last Friday.

The alleged incident involves Rogers and his girlfriend. Aggies Head Coach Doug Martin said he is letting the process work through and so far there is no suspension from the team for Rogers. A court date for Rogers has not been set. The Aggies open the season at the UTEP Miners September 3rd.
