ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Women’s World Cup has soccer fans excited as USA and Germany battle it out on the soccer field in Montreal Tuesday evening.

In Albuquerque, one of the happening spots this Tuesday evening, as it’s been all season, is Two Fools Tavern in Nob Hill.

Crowds arrived early at Two Fools for the semifinals of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Top-ranked Germany and second-ranked United States are meeting hoping to punch a ticket to the final.

The U.S. is playing with extra conviction after losing the final to Japan in 2011. Germany is also bringing the heat. They enter the game boasting a tournament-best 20 goals, according to Fox Sports.

Two Fools Tavern has scored big thanks to the growing popularity of soccer.

“It’s been great for business,” said manager Miles Brennan.

The winner of this game earns a place in the Women’s World Cup final. That will be against either England or Japan on Sunday.

The Women’s World Cup airs Tuesday evening on 2 KASA Fox starting at 5 p.m.
