ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Nathaniel Garley led the Eldorado Eagles to a championship as a junior and Class 6A quarterfinal appearance as a senior.
The 6-foot 3-inch hard throwing pitcher is the Gatorade New Mexico Baseball Player of the Year for 2016. Garley was 7-1 in his final year at Eldorado.
He had a 1.45 ERA and 70 strikeouts with 50 innings pitched. On the other side of the plate, Garley batted .500 with 8 homers and 30 RBI.
He signed to play his college ball at New Mexico.
